“About” me: I’m a twenty-something living in Sydney, Australia. I have recently acquired my first property (and my first mortgage!) and I have an interest in computers, baking, coffee, and travel. Those four should do me for a while!
“About” my job: I’m currently a UNIX Systems Specialist at a small company in Sydney. I write a bit of Perl. I play with (read: fix) Solaris, Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu, HP-UX, and Microsoft servers. I know how to navigate various SAN storage systems (hooray!). I can set up VMWare ESX and guests and all sorts of VMWare gobbledegook. And I like it.
“About” my blog: I like my blog. I don’t update it often, but it contains a lot of interesting information that I find useful at a certain point in time and would like to document for future reference. I would like to think that my blog is a site that I would add to my delicious bookmarks and RSS feeds if I stumbled across it. I hope it never gets Dugg because that would kill my bandwidth, but I hope that the people who find it are somewhat interested in what I have to say.
