About
My name is Phoebe and I’m a twenty-something living in Sydney, Australia. I work at a non-gigantic company that has given me the opportunity to delve into IT infrastructure architecture design, a role that I thoroughly enjoy. We have a number of large, mid-large and middling customers with various requirements and budgets, which inevitably leads to a lot of interesting discussions. Hence my writing is often derived from:
- things I am actively working on
- things I will be soon be working on
- things I want to be working on
I am also interested in social media, and you can find me on Twitter, LinkedIn, and various other online communities, if you are interested. I have an interesting Google search. (I also like this one.)
Outside of technology I enjoy the following things in no particular order: baking, coffee, travel, snowboarding. It’s hard to relate them to my professional life so I usually don’t.
This blog is a representation of my professional interests although I want to develop it into a place I could send people to find out about me if they don’t feel like stalking me on Google. I don’t update often, but I like to think it contains interesting information that someone might find useful someday. I would like to think that my blog is a site that I would add to my delicious bookmarks and RSS feeds if I stumbled across it. Perhaps I am just trying to find my virtual Doppelgänger. Or perhaps a collection of them.
I really, really like emails. But if not, please leave a comment if you found a post interesting. I like to feel loved.
